Programme for Summer 2011 The core activities are Music, Drama, Dance and Arts & Crafts/Movie-Making Workshops*, with 1 hour of each activity taking place each day. Here's what's we've got planned for this year ::

Dance Arts & Crafts
> Introduction to movement > Painting on canvas & intro to sketching > Hip Hop / Modern / Ballet / Jazz >Fashion Design > Dance Games > Making a Patchwork cushion> Fun with different Rhythms> Working with Clay - creating different objects! > Learning to improvise > Jewellery & Badge making > Choreography for Dance Show > Paper Crafts (Origami, Hanging mobiles) > NEW! Lights... Camera... Action! Movie-Making Workshops:: We'll also be offering the 7 yrs+ gang the opportunity to take part in Movie-Making Workshops again this year. They were a real hit the last 2 years! These workshops will run at the same time as the Arts & Crafts programme, so it'll be a choice between one or the other.
The workshops will involve Writing a script, Choosing a Location, Cast/Subject and shooting a Short Video, along with an introduction to all the technical stuff that goes along with Editing a Video. Please specify on the booking form if you'd like to take part in the Movie-Making Workshops!
Please also note that although there will be common core areas across both weeks of the project, there will also be a good variety of activities to ensure that the project is exciting and diverse for those attending both weeks!
